Jackson, stars from the current Broadway show "The Mountaintop," received caricatures of themselves inside a ceremony at Sardi's restaurant on Thursday. Also attending was Jackson's wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson, who lately made an appearance Off-Broadway in "Love, Loss, and Things I Used" and was on Broadway within the 2009 revival of "Joe Turner's Come and Gone." "The Mountaintop," by Katori Hall, won this years Olivier Award for the best new play throughout its London run. The show handles an imagined encounter between civil privileges leader Martin Luther King, Junior. along with a hotel maid, who isn't what she seems to become.
